ASCD ebook collection.  A group of 56 Titles for educators ranging from classroom management, to leadership, to assessment and beyond

  • Gale e-Books Virtual Reference Library: Hundreds of reference books are available online through this site.

  • Kean University-New Jersey Consortium of Middle Schools: These websites have been chosen for their quality and special relevance for middle level educators. There are over 450 entires, each with a brief description. The links are grouped into 19 categories, including all curricular areas, as well as advisories: careers, guidance and counseling. There is also homework help, information literacy, lesson plansprofessional development, projects and proejct-based learning, teaming and technology.

  • eSchool News: Each issue of eSchool News gives educators the latest breaking news, best practices, grant and funding opportunities, and special technology reports that will keep them up to date on school technology.

  • TechLEARNING News: is a weekly update brought to you by Technology & Learning and TechLEARNING.com. It features education news and articles and includes a varied collection of tips, advice, grants, and other information designed for anyone in a school or district who integrates technology or supports it for use in classroom instruction or administration.

  • Edutopia News: a weekly resource for tools and information published by The George Lucas Educational Foundation (GLEF). Each issue features original stories on K-12 topics and practices, as well as links to other relevant news sources.

  • The History Channel® email newsletter: From The History Channel's home page, there is a link for classroom resources. Included on that page are features on Ellis Island, Speech Archives and Ideas from Teachers among others.
